Recently changed federal law requires the three credit bureaus to provide an annual free credit report to all Americans.
This became effective in Pennsylvania January 1, 2006. LEHB strongly encourages all members to review your and your family's credit history via this free service.
There have been instances where members were seeking a loan for a house or car only to be denied. In some cases, the negative comment was from medical providers who either improperly billed or never credited members' accounts. In some cases the member was financially responsible.
